Actor Pedro Pascal recently his name is selling well in the Hollywood television industry. He also admitted that he was overwhelmed when he starred in two major series, namely The Mandalorian and The Last of Us.
Since 2019, Pedro has been busy with his role as Din Djarin in The Mandalorian, the first live-action Star Wars series that he didn't expect to sell well.
Apart from that, since 2021, Pedro has also been busy shooting the video game adaptation series The Last of Us in which he plays Joel Miller.
Having to be the main character in two major series produced almost simultaneously, Pedro admits that he is now quite overwhelmed. In fact, because of his full schedule, Pedro admitted that he was ready to refuse if another big series offer came.
"Honestly, I'm so overwhelmed, I think I'd turn down if I was offered another big franchise. Being part of these two franchises is an interesting experience, but the burden is very heavy," he said as quoted by Collider, Monday (30/5/2022).
Before becoming Din Djarin and Joel Miller, Pedro was actually no stranger to the huge burdens carried by the Hollywood television industry.
The reason is, he managed to skyrocket in the television industry thanks to his roles as Oberyn Martell in the Game of Thrones series on HBO and Javier Pena in the Narcos series on Netflix, two series that were also selling well in their time.
For now, Pedro is scheduled to return to the Star Wars universe through the third season of The Mandalorian, which airs in February 2023.
In addition, Pedro will also debut as Joel in the series The Last of Us which is reportedly ready to air mid next year. /celebrities.id
