Bradley Cooper is known to have been addicted to cocaine. This was confirmed directly by Brad through the Smartless podcast.
Brad revealed that difficult times occurred in his 20s. The father of one child said that time made him lost.
Brad's test continues with his dismissal from the popular "Alias" series in the 2000s. Brad lost his career and started fighting from scratch due to a cocaine addiction. Brad even thought about hurting himself.
"I was so lost and I was addicted to cocaine. It was another thing. I severed my Achilles tendon right after I got fired 'Alias' and struggled with zero self-esteem," said Brad.
Brad revealed that that period made him completely ignored by the Hollywood entertainment world. Brad also felt that no woman was willing to be close to him.
The 47-year-old actor began to feel depressed and felt his career had been ruined. However, Brad slowly began to decide to get up and find his spirit again.
"I was benched at the age of 29. I thought I was successful when I got a Wendy ad. I couldn't get into any club, no girl wanted to see me. I was really depressed," said Brad. "Until I got a role in 'The Hangover'. So I had to go through all that before fame."
Brad began to rediscover his confidence. He slowly began to stand up, talk, a career in acting.
"I really made a big break at the age of 29 to 33, 34, where at least I could stand in front of someone and breathe and listen and talk," said Brad.
All these difficulties have been passed by Brad before his success as a famous actor as he is today. Therefore, Brad said he was happy to be at this point. He is grateful every time he remembers his struggle to recover and rise from adversity.
"It's amazing to see you in this place and see you comfortable. Nothing makes me happier. It makes me happy to see you so happy with who you are," concluded Brad. (wk/Side)
