In her lawsuit, the former baby sitter claimed to have been dishonorably dismissed. It is known that Halsey's nanny is Ashley Funches. Ashley said that Halsey fired shortly after she was given leave to visit her parents.
Shortly, through Entertainment Tonight, Halsey's lawyer gave clarification. Lawyers denied that Halsey dismissed her baby sitter with disrespect.
According to the lawyer's statement, Halsey fired the baby sitter because the baby had been left in an unsafe place. Baby sitter Halsey was also caught drunk while still working.
Because of that, Halsey decided to stop him. He dismissed dismissal employees dishonorably.
"These allegations are baseless. The work of this individual was recently terminated in response to a specific incident," Halsey's attorney said. "Where baby Halsey was left unattended in an unsafe location while under the care of a nanny. And it was discovered that the nanny was drunk while the child was in her care."
Halsey is reportedly saddened by the news. He felt the need to clarify the allegations of his former baby sitter.
This is because Halsey is very concerned about the welfare of workers. Therefore, Halsey does not want to be seen as violating workers' rights.
"As a result, Halsey is saddened and disappointed by these allegations. They feel it is important to dispute these allegations publicly because they take their abilities and ethical working conditions very seriously," Halsey's attorney said.
It is known, Halsey and her husband, Alev Aydin welcomed their first baby in July 2021. The two have a baby boy named Ender.
