After going through a complicated trial against his ex-wife in court, Johnny Depp finally managed to beat Amber Heard. The jury in the trial held at Fairfax County Circuit Court decided Johnny as the winner in the defamation lawsuit.


As reported by Variety, Amber Heard was required to pay Johnny Depp US $ 15 million or equivalent to Rp 217.6 billion. This figure is the amount of compensation and penalties for charges of defamation in his writing in the Washington Post related to domestic violence in 2018.


Although the jury at the trial sided with Depp, they also gave a verdict on Heard's counterclaim. The AQUAMAN star is said to be receiving compensation of US$ 2 million or equivalent to Rp. 29 billion.
