In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Selene told the beginning of her introduction and meeting with Demi. Selena revealed that her first meeting with Demi happened when the two auditioned for Disney's first "Barney".
Of the 1,400 children, Selena said only seven had passed the audition. Two of them are Selena and Demi. "Out of all the kids, they chose seven, and I happened to be one of them," Selena recalls.
Selena still remembers well that Demi was standing in front of her during the audition. He recalled the moment where Demi wore a red ribbon. The memory is still vivid in Selena's mind.
"The wildest part of the story was that she was actually the girl standing in front of me," Selena said. "I remember her wearing a red ribbon. I will never forget her."
Selena and Demi then often met and were involved in the same project. Selena even revealed that she recently had a small reunion with Demi.
"I just thought about the world. And we both ended, once we got the part, we don't know if the other did. And we just had this little reunion when we bumped into each other," Selena continued.
Not only Demi, Selena is also known to be friends with a number of artists and singers. Two of them are Cara Delevingne and Cardi B.
Selena even sent a number of gifts after Cardi gave birth to her second child. Blankets, children's toys, clothes, dolls and snacks were seen being sent by Selena to Cardi's residence.
