Shah Rukh Khan is all set to star in his new film, Jawan and will play a soldier.
“This is a special project that we have been waiting for because of the inevitable troubles all around us. But some good people are working hard & have made it happen," Shah Rukh Khan told sources.
Launching ETIMES on Sunday (5/6/2022), the film Jawan will be directed by Atlee, who previously succeeded in directing a series of blockbuster films such as Raja Rani, Theri, Mersal and Bigil.
Previously, the teaser for the film had aired showing Shah Rukh Khan with a wound and his head and hands wrapped in bandages.
The film will be released in five languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada and opens on 2 June 2023 in theaters worldwide.
On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan revealed that Jawan will carry a universal story covering language and geography that can be enjoyed by everyone.
"The credit goes to Atlee for making this unique film, which was also a fantastic experience for me because I love action movies! The existing teaser gives a glimpse of what's to come," said Shah Rukh Khan.
Apart from this film, Shah Rukh Khan is also preparing to pamper the audience and fans with three films that will be released next year namely Dunki, Pathaan & now Jawan. /celebrities.id
