Paige DeSorbo's Packaging FAQs
E!: I'm curious about the packing logistics for Summer House. Some people come in with boxes the first week as if they were going to be moving all summer. Then there's another cast who carries small bags back and forth in every episode. What is your strategy?
PD: The cast of all packages are different too. Some people pack all summer and bring so much on the first weekend. I can't do that, purely out of anxiety. What if I'm in town and need a pair of shoes that the Hamptons have? I will panic. I'm a good packer.
I have a second set of hair tools in there, a razor, and an extra hairdryer. I left some skincare stuff behind as well, but I carry essentials back and forth.
E!: When you fly, do you usually carry a bag or prefer to travel with luggage?
PD: If it's more than three days, it's impossible for me not to check the bag.
E!: What did you bring on the plane?
PD: When I check the bag, I don't have any luggage with me, but I will carry a personal bag with my iPad, my chapstick, my wallet. I hate having to walk around airports with a lot of luggage because it's a risk if you lose your luggage, but it's a risk I'm willing to take.
E!: As a seasoned traveler, do you have any special tips we should keep in mind when staying at a hotel?
PD: When I checked into the hotel, I asked for two things: if there was a steamer in the room and if there was an extra clothes rack. When I get to a place, I just close everything. Most hotels have it. Many people do not think to ask. If you want to be prepared I'd call ahead to make sure and if they have what you're looking for, it's less to pack. /eonline.com
