Selena Gomez is in the public spotlight because at an event she said that Taylor Swift is her only friend.
During the event, Justin Bieber's ex-girlfriend also revealed that she could never get along with a group of female celebrities.
"I never fit in with a group of cool girls who became celebrities. My only friend in this industry is Taylor (Swift)," Selena Gomez said as quoted from the music-news page.
After Selena Gomez's words went viral, film star Francia Raisa then responded to an Instagram post that highlighted Selena's words by writing a comment; "Interesting".
However, US Weekly reports that the comment has been removed.
Meanwhile, TikTok artist Stephanie Treeji also explained the drama in a video on the TikTok platform. Selena then also commented on the video and wrote; "Sorry I didn't mention everyone I know,".
For information, Francia and Selena first met in 2007 while visiting a children's hospital together and have reportedly been friends ever since. Then, in 2017, Francia donated her kidney to Selena amid the singer's struggle with lupus.
"I found out that I needed to get a kidney transplant because of my Lupus and was recovering. That's what I need to do for my overall health," Selena wrote on Instagram photos at the hospital in 2017.
In addition, Selena also added a thank you to her friend, Francia Raisa in the upload.
"There are no words to describe how I can thank my beautiful friend Francia Raisa. She gave me the ultimate gift and sacrifice by donating her kidney to me. I am so blessed. I love you so much brother," he said. /celebrities.id
