The conflict between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard is heating up. Tuesday (19/4) United States time, the trial for Depp's lawsuit against Amber regarding defamation has been held.

During the trial, Depp made a number of statements. Including the accusation that he had committed violence against Amber Heard.

"Never have I reached the point of attacking Mrs Heard in any way, nor have I ever hit any woman in my life," Depp said as quoted by CNN Indonesia.

1. Don't want his name to be polluted

Johnny Depp's decision finally sued Amber Heard because he did not accept his good name being defamed. Moreover, it can also affect his children and the people who have put their trust in him.

Depp said he just wanted the truth to be revealed. He did not want his name to be tarnished with accusations that he had never actually committed.

2. Want There's Truth

"I don't want any of those people to believe that I have done anything wrong or lied to them or that I am a fraud. I am proud of my honesty," Depp said.

"The truth is all I want," he continued.

3. Lawsuits Filed Since 2019

Johnny Depp's first libel lawsuit filed in 2019 was worth US$50 million. The lawsuit then began rolling in the court on April 11, 2022.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard both insisted that their client was the victim. Depp's lawyer accused Amber of just wanting to bad-mouth the actor. Meanwhile, Amber's lawyer revealed that Depp had been sexually assaulted during the marriage.
