Juventus will reportedly terminate Aaron Ramsey's contract in the 2022 summer transfer market. Because they are reluctant to pay his expensive salary even though he is rarely played.

Ramsey joined the Bianconeri – nicknamed Juventus – in the summer of 2019 on a free transfer from Arsenal. However, his career with the Italian giants did not go smoothly. The Welsh attacking midfielder has struggled to find a place in his first season.

In addition, he also often suffers from injuries that increasingly make him excluded from the Juventus core squad. In fact, in the first half of the 2021/2022 season, Ramsey only appeared five times in all competitions. Finally, Massimiliano Allegri's team loaned him to Glasgow Rangers in the second half of the season.

However, Ramsey has a high salary of seven million euros (Rp109.2 billion) per year. As a result, it was difficult for Juventus to sell him because the fee was very expensive. Even so, it seems that Juventus have lost their patience to sell the 31-year-old player. They are reported to have intended to terminate his contract this summer.

Reported from Football Italia, Saturday (28/5/2022), even the Bianconeri have taken serious steps in this regard. They are reported to have made an initial approach with Ramsey about terminating his contract. The situation experienced by Ramsey is similar to that experienced by Gonzalo Higuain when he was in Juventus uniform.

As is known, in 2020 the Argentine striker was terminated by the team based at Allianz Stadium and then joined Inter Miami on a free transfer. For information, overall Ramsey has made 70 appearances for Juventus. In his service, he has collected the Italian League, Coppa Italia and Italian Super Cup titles. /celebrities.id
