The beautiful actress Joey King is happy after being officially proposed to her lover, who is known to be a famous director named Steven Piet. It is known, Joey and Steven got engaged on February 2, 2022 ago.
However, the happy news was only shared by Joey through his personal Instagram page on Tuesday (1/3). Joey and Steven got engaged after three years of dating.
Meanwhile, Joey and Steven were known to have a romantic relationship for the first time in 2019. The two dated after being involved in location love during the Hulu series project "The Act". In which, Steven was asked to direct the series.
Interestingly, Joey has recently been willing to open up about his post-engagement wedding plans. Previously, Joey revealed a solid reason for choosing Steven as a potential husband.
Joey's interesting confession was conveyed through an interview with Extra TV. Joey admitted from the beginning that he had believed that Steven was the last partner for him.
Joey even called his mother when he started falling for Steven. Joey said that before he and Steven started dating. "I met him. I called my mom, I was like, 'I think I'm in love with someone'," recalls Joey laughing.
Regarding wedding plans, Joey admitted that he still didn't want to rush. He and his lover still want to enjoy the moment and their happiness as a fiancé.
Joey said many extraordinary things happened in his life. Therefore, the 22-year-old actress wants to be grateful and appreciate it well.
