Harry Styles announced his partnership with the non-profit security organization Everytown for Gun Safety during the 2022 North America Tour. This was because Harry Styles wanted his tour to be safe and conducive, considering the tragic shooting in Uvalde, Texas on May 27, 2022.

Citing Hollywoodlife, Monday (30/5/2022), the British singer also expressed concern over the mass shooting incidents that occurred in America.

"With all of you, I am utterly devastated by the recent series of mass shootings in America, located at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas," he wrote in his Instagram post.

For this reason, to ensure safety during the tour, his party also cooperates with Everytown for Gun Safety.

"On our North American tour, we will be partnering with Everytown working to end gun violence, donating to support their efforts, and sharing the action items they recommend," he further wrote.

He also attached statistics in the next photo that reveal horrific facts about gun violence.

"Firearms are the number 1 leading cause of death for American children and youth," he wrote.

Furthermore, Harry Style invites his followers and fans to participate in ending violence, including those based on weapons.

"End gun violence," he wrote, ending his post.

For your information, Everytown For Gun Safety is America's largest gun violence prevention organization. Harry Styles plans to donate proceeds from his tour, called the Love On Tour, to charity.

Harry is not the only celebrity who has decided to take a stand and use their voice in the aftermath of the tragic and heart-rending shootings in Texas. One of the musicians who also joined was Matthew McConaughey, whose hometown is Uvalde. He showed his support by visiting the city and paying tribute to the victims.

Although Matthew chose not to make a public statement during his visit, he took to his social media and wrote uplifting messages. He stated that reforms in America were essential, without explicitly mentioning specific gun control measures.

Other stars who have voiced calls to end violence include Taylor Swift, Britney Spears, Selena Gomez, Chris Evans, and many more. These celebrities use their platforms to express their condolences and emotional feelings.
