Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) star Neymar Jr said that his teammate, Lionel Messi, is still difficult to adapt at the club from Paris until now.
The Brazilian man revealed several reasons why it was difficult for Messi to show his best game at PSG.
As is known, Neymar has confirmed that he will remain at PSG. That way, the 30-year-old will still be Messi's partner at the Parisian club.
Although, previously there were reports that PSG were open to selling Neymar this summer. However, the French club will be willing to let the Brazilian star go if the offer is right and benefits the club.
In fact, Neymar is known to still have three years remaining on his contract at the Parc des Princes.
Apart from that, Neymar said Messi was difficult to adapt to at PSG. He also explained the reason the most Ballon d'Or winners have not been able to show their best game and bring changes to PSG.
"Leo has spent many years at Barcelona, it is difficult to adapt. It is difficult to change the team and the city," Neymar said, quoted by Goal International, Monday (30/5/2022).
“Besides, he didn't come alone, but with his family. The language is also different. It's a lot of confusion," said Neymar.
Not only that, continued the 30-year-old player, Messi does not have a match with the style of play that is applied by PSG. In fact, it cost him himself, apart from Messi and Kylian Mbappe.
"There's also a team style of play, with players who don't understand how to play. So it's all a loss. Leo, Kylian and I are players who are always judged by performances, stats, titles won, in everything," Neymar said.
Even so, Neymar will still be responsible for his duties. He was determined to give the best game for Les Parisiens.
"We know our responsibility and that's why we always try to do our best," Neymar said. /celebrities.id
