Marilyn Monroe's legendary dress reportedly damaged after being worn by Kim Kardashian at the 2022 Met Gala

Kim Kardashian was suddenly blamed after the legendary dress of the late Marlyn Monroe was reportedly damaged after wearing it at the 2022 Met Gala a few months ago.

Kim Kardashian a few months ago was known to wear the legendary Marilyn Monroe dress to attend the 2022 Met Gala with her lover, Pete Davidson. The luxurious silver dress that Kim wore was reportedly also worn by Marilyn Monroe.

Kim was even willing to lose as much as 16 kg in three weeks to be able to wear a Marilyn Monroe dress. Even Kim had openly often experienced hunger for a strict diet ahead of the 2022 Met Gala.

The reason, Kim reportedly could not fit to wear the dress. The mother of four then decided to go on a strict diet, instead of giving up on it.

However, recently there was news that Marilyn Monroe's dress was damaged after being worn by Kim Kardashian. The zipper on the dress is said to be broken. Some parts also look torn. Plus some pearls that adorn Marilyn Monroe's dress are reportedly loose and missing.

Kim previously admitted that she was afraid to move and sit while wearing the dress. He was afraid that his excessive movement would damage the maestro's legendary dress. However, the facts say otherwise, now the dress is never the same as before.

"I have a lot of respect for the dress and what it means for American history. I would never want to sit in it or eat in it or risk any damage and I wouldn't wear body makeup like I usually do," Kim told Vogue.

As a result, Kim is widely blamed for destroying the dress belonging to the late Marilyn Monroe. Some people criticize Kim for being selfish because he is more concerned with appearance than history. According to them, Kim should never have worn the dress from the start.

"Kim should never have worn that dress in the first place. I mean yes it's great to pay homage to Marilyn but she was able to make a new and replicated dress. This is a timeless and iconic artifact that has been shattered," said a Twitter user.

"Kim has destroyed a piece of historic art," another exclaimed. "Congratulations to the Met Gala for showing a real example of why a conservation department like the Costume Institute is needed for a historically significant outfit," added another. (wk/Side)
