Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Also Celebrate The Platinum Jubilee That Marks The First Time They Appear Together With The Royal Family In More Than Two Years.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are celebrating Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived in England this week with their children, 3-year-old Archie and one-year-old Lilibet on Saturday.
They joined the royal family for Trooping the Color on Thursday (2/6) local time. In a screenshot online, Markle can be seen entertaining several other royal children.
The mother-of-two was spotted frolicking with various young royals, including Zara Tindall's children, Mia, 8, and nearly 4-year-old Lena, and Peter Phillips' daughter Savannah, 11. Not only Markle, but the husband as well, apparently jokingly telling the girls to giggle too.
The couple, who left the United Kingdom for a new life in America, were also seen chatting with Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, as they watched Elizabeth II's birthday parade from the Major General's Office, overlooking the Horse Guards Parade.

This moment marks the first time Harry and Meghan have appeared with the royal family in more than two years. Their last appearance was in March 2020 for Commonwealth Day, which was their last appearance as officially working royals.
Currently, Markle and Harry live in Montecito, California. Harry and Meghan may have been in attendance for the celebration, but they were not allowed to appear with the Queen on the Buckingham Palace balcony during the Royal Air Force flyover.
This announcement was made by the royal party long before the Platinum Jubilee began. The royal party announced that only working royals would join the queen. (wk/zodi)
