The happy news came from the beautiful singer and Little Mix personnel, Perrie Edwards. The reason is, Perrie and her lover and father of her child, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain officially proposed to her.
Perrie and Alex are officially engaged after welcoming their first child in August 2021. It is known, Alex is a soccer athlete who is now a member of the English league, Liverpool.
The happy news was shared by Perrie through her personal Instagram page. Alex proposed to Perrie on Saturday (18/6) with a view overlooking the sea.
In the photo shared, Alex is seen kneeling to propose from his son. Perrie looked surprised and couldn't contain her happiness.
Of course there is no reason for Perrie to reject Alex's proposal. Perrie also shows the shape of the diamond ring that Alex gave to propose to her.
"Last night the love of my life knelt down and I said… YES!" Perrie wrote via Instagram page on Sunday (19/6).
The post immediately reaped various comments from fans and fellow artists. Perrie's fairy partners in Little Mix are no exception, namely Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock who don't want to miss giving their congratulations.
Jade appears to leave a heart emoji and cries describing how touched she was by the news of Perrie's engagement. Meanwhile, Leigh-Anne said she was happy to hear about her best friend's engagement. "Best news. I'm so happy for you both," said Leigh-Anne.
It is known, Perrie and Alex are officially engaged after six years together. The two started dating in November 2016. Five years later, on August 21, 2021, Perrie gave birth to their first child.
