Letitia Wright admits she is still traumatized after having an accident while filming the film Black Panther 2 in 2021.

Letitia Wright was injured in the aftermath of the motorcycle accident that led to her being rushed to hospital, where she fractured her shoulder, concussion and other injuries.

"I'm still in the trauma healing process, I'm still in therapy, it's really traumatic," Wright said.

At the time of the incident, Wright was on the set in Boston with the film crew. Director Ryan Coogler was not at the crash site at the time, as he was returning to Atlanta, the main shooting location for Black Panther. Coogler learned of Wright's accident through a phone call.

"I can't imagine it when I got the call, I already thought of her as my little sister, just imagine when you get the call your sister gets hurt, it's the worst thing in the world," Coogler said.

Upon receiving the news, Coogler and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige immediately went to Boston to see Wright's condition in the hospital.

"What happened during the production was terrible," Feige said when he saw Wright's condition, who was seriously injured.

According to Wright, he was determined to finish the film, as a tribute to his late co-star 'Chadwick Boseman'. So Wright isn't going to let his injuries get in the way of the film.

"I just remember wanting to finish my film, I think that was one of the first things I said to Ryan Coogler, and he encouraged me to get well soon," Wright said.

After the accident, Wright left Boston and traveled back to London to recuperate. Production of Black Panther was suspended in November 2021 when it was decided that Wright needed more time to recover.

Until finally the shooting process started again in January 2022. Wright said that he still had to deal with post-concussion syndrome while filming.

"I had great medical support and incredible patience on set. I'm so proud of myself and proud of Ryan, the team, who have helped overcome adversity every step of the way," Wright said.

Meanwhile, Wright admitted that after filming Black Panther he was deeply moved and cried like a baby. /celebrities.id
